A newly introduced species about which little is known but expected to be of substantial stature.

 As with all Borinda species,  KR 6900 is non-running..

Collected at 3680m hs been fully hardy in the UK.

Introduced via Ness Botanical Gardens from Station 213 Syrcham La, Tibet.

Effective as a specimen plant or as a tall screen.

This  species or clone has been part of our range for a considerable time and may possibly have been obtained direct from Ness.It has proved quite hardy and easier to grow on the nursery than most Borindas except for its considerable  height which liimits saleability and is difficult to handle. Its culms have been attractive but not of exceptional colour. I have not been able to trial a plant in the garden and  would be pleased to hear from  anyone who has  as there seems little about it online.
