Phyllostachys glauca
A vigorous and hardy bamboo with glaucous young canes, giving the whole plant a slightly
Rather arching habit, slowly spreading to form an open grove.
Height around 16ft.(5m). Has tolerated -18C. Sun or light shade.
A vigorous and impressive specimen plant or can be used for screening.
Phyllostachys glauca yunzhu - A scarce form with irregular brown or purple spots on the culm. Slightly more compact but other characteristics identical.
