Phyllostachys aureosulcata


An excellent hedging or screening plant, producing plentiful olive green or yellowish canes, occasionally striped with yellow.  Fresh green foliage. Suitable for sun or light shade. Less commonly grown than its varieties.

Other characteristics similar to its two varieties 'Aureocaulis' and 'Spectabilis' including the tendency for some culms to zig-zag at their base.

 Has tolerated -26C. Height around 14ft.(5m)
