x Hibanobambusa tranquillans 'Shiroshima'

Large, boldly variegated leaves. Grows vigorously into a dense rounded bush about 10ft.(3.5m) high and tends to spread steadily sideways. Suitable for sun or shade.

A very showy specimen plant and also useful for screening. Effective in a container so long as it is watered regularly. 

A hybrid with characteristics of both Sasa and Phyllostachys. Tolerant of trimming. Has tolerated -20C.
