Fargesia robusta 'Pingwu'

An alternative clone of this upright, non-running species. Height around 12ft.

Distinctive glossy leaves, possibly smaller than those of the type. Plentiful, closely spaced green canes, eventually becoming pale yellow. Has tolerated -15C.

Suitable for all purposes but exceptionally useful as a decorative screen for small  gardens. A new introduction from China.
