Chimonobambusa marmorea A spreading, low growing species, recognisable by its marbled new culm sheaths and characteristic narrow leaves. Height around 3 to 5ft. (1.5m) Has tolerated -20C.Introduced from Japan in 1889.When planted as groundcover its narrow leaves can be a useful contrast to other foliage types.
